How do I create a Zone?

Creating a Charging zone is a straightforward process through the Zone screen. For first-time users, upon creating an account, you'll be directed to the Zone screen where you'll have the option to create your initial zone. Simply follow the provided steps to proceed.

Alternatively, if you already have an established zone, you can create a new one by tapping the pin icon located in the top left corner. A menu will appear, allowing you to create a new zone. Follow the same steps as before to set up your Charging zone.

To create a Charging zone, you'll need to specify a name for the zone and its location. It's crucial to understand that the location represents the physical area where all chargers associated with this zone are situated. For instance, if your Charging zone corresponds to your home, where you have multiple chargers installed, you'll create a single Charging zone encompassing all of them. As this zone represents your home, all relevant information such as tariff rates will be shared within that zone, ensuring that all chargers within it operate according to the same energy pricing structure. This unified approach facilitates the creation of an optimized smart charging schedule.

Once you've created a zone, it will be assigned a joining code that you can share with users whom you invite to the Charging zone. Additionally, the "Enable joining zone" toggle will be disabled by default, meaning that no one will be able to access the Charging zone even with the joining code. If you wish to grant access to your Charging zone, ensure that the "Enable joining zone" toggle is enabled.
