If you are trying to add your charger to Electric Miles and if you see the message, “We couldn’t find your charger”, it means your charger is offline and you need to follow these simple steps to connect your charger to the Electric Miles app:
1. Download and open the Installer Miles App:
- Tap on 'Access for Electric Miles Drivers.'
- Tap on 'Charger Connectivity.'
Note: Please have location permission enabled before proceeding
2. Select charger make & model:
- Scan the QR code or enter the serial number.
3. Configure charger via Wi-Fi:
- Disconnect your phone from your home Wi-Fi router.
- Consent to share your location when prompted on the app (necessary for transmitting Wi-Fi information).
- Tap on 'Network setup,' then tap on 'Wi-Fi.'
4. Connect to your Wi-Fi:
For Android users:

- Tap on the Wi-Fi network, select your network, and enter the password.
- Tap "Connect" if credentials are correct, a success message will be displayed.
- Now tap ‘save’ on the top right corner
For iOS users:

- Temporarily disconnect from your home Wi-Fi router via phone’s network settings.
- In the Installer Miles App, enter your network name (caps sensitive) and password.
- Tap "Connect" if credentials are correct, a success message will be displayed.
5. Ensure charger is in pairing mode:
- Turn off the mains fuse connected to the charger. Turn it back on after 30 seconds.
- The charger will emit a hotspot for about a minute.
- Confirm the hotspot in your phone's Wi-Fi settings (network name: charger serial number) (Never connect to the charger hotspot). Refresh the list if necessary.
- Alternatively, return to the IM app, and it will connect automatically.
6. Complete the connection:
- Return to the app, press "Connect" and tap 'Join' when prompted to join your charger hotspot.
7. Success!

A success screen will appear. If not, check:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi router is within 5m of the charger.
- Confirm your phone's location services are set to 'Always while using the app.'
